TP murder: CPM leadership in crisis as party workers call quits
Kozhikode: Protest is looming large within the CPM after the murder of TP Chandrasekharan and the party leadership is in a spot trying to convince party workers that the party has no hand in the murder.
Protests were registered from party villages too. In many parts of Kozhikode district, party workers are planning to quit the party. In Onchiyam, two CPM activists have joined RMP.
K Subair and VK Ajeesh resigned from CPM. Ajeesh had worked as SFI district joint secretary, DYFI Cherodu region secretary, block committee member and CPM Cherodu local committee member. At present he is a CPM branch member,
K Subair acted as DYFI Onchiyam block committee member. Subair said as many as 10 people will join RMP from CPM. At the same time it is also reported that a secret meeting has been called by the CPM and DYFI activists, who owe allegiance to TP and who believe that CPM has a hand in the murder. Many reached TP's home and expressed their support.
Many of the activists have decided to quit party if it is proved that CPM is behind the murder.
