Drinking water project delayed due to Nokkukooli

Alappuzha: Drinking water project in Alappuzha has been delayed due to Nokkukooli. When the contractors denied nokkukooli of Rs 66,000 by the workers, the project is delayed as contractors stopped the work. It is CITU workers union which demanded nokkukooli for 110 workers for using ready mixer for tank construction at Chandanakkavu , Alappuzha.
Eight tanks are being constructed for the project. The construction of tank in Chandanakkvau was began on Tuesday . As more part were needed to be concreted the contractor deiced to bring in ready mix concreter. When it's in use there need to be only tree workers for helping. When the contractor approached CITU leader to inform the same and the CITU union convener asked the money as Rs 600 each for 110 workers.
