Kerala MLA team blocked in Chandigarh

New Delhi: Malayalee organizations in Chandigarh obstructed a team of MLAs from Kerala at the Chandigarh railway station on Wednesday. Four Malayalee organizations in Chandigarh blocked the Kerala NRI welfare committee members at 7.30 in the night alleging these Malayalee organizations were not called for a meeting organised there. AP Abdulakutty MLA said only those organizations registered with Norka website were called for the meeting. The NRI Welfare committee in which Abduraham Randathani is chairman has TV Rajesh, PA Madhavan and Abdu Rasaq as members. They were in Jana Shatabdi Express to attend the meet which was slated for 8.30 pm. The team led by Raghunathan Nair of SasthraKalamanj blocked them. They were allowed to leave only after half and hour.
