Kollam: In a shocking incident, Mohammed Haneef, a native of Minagapally in Kollam, who was about to wind up his job in Saudi Arabia was found murdered in Jeddah. The partially burnt body of the 66-year-old man was found abandoned on the way side after he was killed by the perpetrators by hammering him on the head. The Saudi police have informed that three Keralites have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A scuffle following demand of money lent had reportedly led to the murder of Mohammed Haneef, who had been working as an electromechanical engineer in Saudi Arabia for the past thirty years.
Haneef had asked for the money as he was preparing to wrap up his work there and relocate to his native place.
