The High Court has ruled that marriages conducted within CPM party offices would have no legal sanction. The court also said that marriages that are performed in this manner without adhering to norms and regulations of the nation must not be certified by concerned authorities.
The court also suggested that those who had married as per party norms need to marry as per legal norms existing in the nation. The order was passed by Justice Antony Dominic and Justice Anil K Narendran
