MURREE: A man identified as Nadeem has been accused of murdering two of his nephews and critically injuring another here on Monday.
According to SSP Operations, Mian Maqbool a man murdered two of his abducted nephews in a suburban area in the jurisdiction of Murree police station.
The third child was found injured and was identified as Zain Ali. Zain told police that the culprit was their uncle and they belonged to Dabran area of Abbottabad.
Police add that the man kidnapped and murdered his nephews on the directives of a fake pir. An investigation is underway and police are searching for Nadeem. It is feared that Nadeem who has a visa of a foreign county may flee the country.
PIM Hospital spokeswoman, Dr Ayesha told reporters that Maher Ali (11) and Qadir Ali (4) had their throats slit with a sharp object. She added that Zain had undergone an operation and shifted to the ICU.
The family of the murdered children is trying to piece together why Nadeem would commit this horrific crime. Geo News visited the home of the victims’ and found out that Nadeem was their mother’s cousin.
The victims’ grandfather said there was no enmity between the two families and Nadeem often visited the children and took them sightseeing.
