Thiruvananthapuram: The day-long hartal called by BJP, demanding the resignation of Finance Minister K.M. Mani in the bar bribery case, has disrupted normal life across the State.
Initial reports said buses, taxis and autorickshaws kept off the roads and shops remained closed all over the State.
Private vehicles are plying and no violence has so far been reported from anywhere.
The BJP in Kerala is also demanding that Chief Minister resign and go for a midterm poll.
BJP State president V. Muraleedharan Thursday said that it would be a disaster for Kerala if Mani presented the next State Budget.
