Alappuzha: Veteran leader V S Achuthanandan has been removed from CPM
state panel. The senior leader's name was not featured in the list of
panel members released on Monday morning.
There were repots that the party central leadership wanted inclusion of VS' name in the panel. However, the CPM state leadership was adamant on its stand that VS, who walked out of the meet, could not be included in the panel. Senior leader MA Baby has been also been excluded from the panel.
The new panel features a total of 88 members while one post will remain vacant.
