Amit Shah to visit Sabarimala during Mandalam season to intensify agitation

Sources say that he held discussions in this regard with State BJP unit before returning to New Delhi. But the date of his visit to Sabarimala is not known. The BJP sees Sabarimala issue as a chance to gain stronghold in Kerala. After request from the State unit of the party, Shah reportedly agreed to take part in the valedictory function of Rath yatra to be held in the State by BJP from November 8 to 13. Thus he is supposed to attend the function to be organised in Pathanamthitta and also to have a darshan of Lord Ayyappa temple. However, Amit Shah has instructed the party men to hold the protest under the banner of NDA and not BJP.
