Sabarimala: Tripti Desai lands in Kochi, faces protests at airport

[ PLEASE SEE ADS IN MY BLOGS [www.atozkerala.in , www.atozkerala.blogspot.com] KOCHI: Bhumata brigade leader Tripti Desai landed at the Kochi International Airport to visit the Sabarimala Temple. She arrived by an Indigo flight at 4.30 am at Nedumbassery International Airport from Pune. A six-member women team has accompanied Desai. However, she has not been able to come out of the airport as protestors did not permit them. Meanwhile, BJP and RSS protesters are sitting in protest outside the airport. They said that she will not be allowed to leave the airport. They are sitting there and singing hymns of the lord. Meantime, prepaid taxi operators have refused to take her citing security reasons. Desai said that she would not return without the darshan. Most probably she may stay at a hotel in Kochi and leave for Sabarimala tomorrow morning. She said the police had assured to provide her security.
